About Us
My name is Linda Thompson. I bought my first Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Cooper, in 2011 and quickly entered the wonderful world of showing dogs.
Cooper (Marquee’s Love the One You’re With) got his Championship quickly and went on to receive his Grand Championship Silver. In 2013 I purchased my second Wheaten, Hobby (Marquee’s Collection of Gemstones). Hobby also quickly got her Championship and went on to receive her Grand Championship Bronze title.
During this adventure, I became a member of the national Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America and a part of a very supportive Wheaten community. I continue to show Wheatens and at this point, all of my Wheatens have received their Championships.
I am a hobby breeder, breeding only “show quality” Wheatens, but all of my dogs are first and foremost family pets. I consider temperament and health to be just as important as conformation. I breed my Wheatens to be a superior representation of the Wheaten breed. I breed only one litter per year and love to place quality puppies with their new families. I enjoy getting regular updates, pictures, and reports about my puppies from my litters.
Heritage Wheatens is located in Marietta, Georgia, just north of Atlanta.
